Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the internet! Won’t you curl up with your favorite quilt and cup of coffee and stay a while?  Coffee Date with Kate is where I share my heart, ideas, favorite recipes, and adventures.

I’m a pursuer of Jesus above all else, striving daily to live for Him and become more like Him. My greatest blessings are being a wife, mama, and homemaker. I’m a self-proclaimed chocolate chip cookie connoisseur, and a lover of capturing images that freeze time, writing til my little heart is content, and slow mornings. I embrace spontaneity but also value tradition, fall in love with everywhere I go, and love to get lost in a good book with a big cup of coffee.

This handsome man is my husband, Grayson. We met at Appalachian State and got married on 12-13-14. We are happy to call a small town on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina “home.” He is an incredible cook, loves sports, and he makes me laugh until my stomach hurts. He has more patience than anyone I know, and loves spontaneous adventure just as much as I do. He is so much fun to be around, is an amazing Daddy, surprises me constantly, and draws me closer to Jesus every day. When Jesus brought him into my life, He gave me a gift I’ll spend the rest of my life thanking Him for.

In May 2016, Grayson and I welcomed our first little boy into the world and then our first daughter in May 2018. I have always wanted to be a Mama, and now that I am, it’s even better than I dreamed. These little lives Jesus has entrusted us with are my greatest treasure and it is so much fun to watch them grow.
