Ruby Lou Bags is a little hobby that turned into a small business. The name is in honor of the owner’s grandmother, Ruby, who she lovingly remembers as a kind, giving, selfless woman of God. It was her grandmother who taught her to sew, so it’s very fitting that she pay tribute to her by naming her business after her. “Lou” is a nod to the St. Louis region, where you can find Ruby Lou Bags in five different boutiques, all ran by local women.

Miranda (the owner and creative behind this business) is a believer, wife, and mother of three boys. She is passionate about shopping small and supporting local artisans and she works from home part-time and stays busy creating new, beautiful bags for Ruby Lou Bags.
